​During Hitler’s quest for power over Europe and the start of WWII the Japanese thought that the other countries around Europe would have depleted their resources, thus thinking that they could gain control of the southern countries in Asia. They saw America as a threat and needed to rid them of one of their most powerful air fleets. America fought back by being the first and only country to us an atomic bomb during a war. All of that resulted in over 200,000 people dying.
